Did not have the best experience:/ called to make an appointment with a curly certified specialist and was told to go to Cassie, who “did curls”. Sat down in the chair and asked her about her specializing in curls and she replied with “yes I love cutting curly hair”. No one was upfront with me that they were not trained in curls, so I was very disappointed when my hair was getting pulled straight and cut straight across (curly girls you know:/). Wish they would have been upfront with me, also my fault I didn’t do my research I guess. Was overall really rough with my hair and just seemed like aimlessly cutting. People were nice just not a great experience for someone wanting a curl cut!
Came in for some layers and curtain bangs and left feeling SO much better! My hair is long and thick and I was given many useful tips and treated great! I love my new hair, will definitely be back for my next cut!
Booked a haircut with Alexa who was the sweetest thing ever and was extremely knowledgeable. I didn’t know how short I wanted to cut my hair so I left it up to Alexa to really revamp my hair to give it a healthier look. She recommended me a great shampoo, conditioner and leave in that could help me achieve my hair goals ✨Also, I’ve never gotten a massage while getting my hair washed and she almost put me to sleep with the neck massage she gave 😂 I can’t wait to book with her again soon!
Meg was awesome with our 5 year old biracial daughter. I had specific requests and experience required for her texture of hair/curl pattern and Meg was quickly referred as our hair girl. She was patient, kind, knowledgeable and made my girl feel special and at ease behind the chair. I cannot begin to describe the relief when you find the right hair person when you move to a new place. Thank you, I can't wait for it to be my turn! 100% give them a shot.
Cassie did my highlight/low light and cut. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she did a great job. I’m always nervous going to a new hair stylist, but she did great! Only recommendation I would make is for the stylists to have a really active Instagram. That’s usually how I see if the stylists do well and if I want to make an appointment. She had a lot of colored hair but not many pictures of her highlight work. Based off her good styling and haircuts, I rolled the dice and am glad I did.
This was my first visit to Platinum & Company. Having to make a last minute appointment, Carly was able to get me in. The receptionist who checked me in was extremely polite and professional. Carly came over and introduced herself and I just liked right away. She took the time to really listen to me and she gave me various options. I was blown away by how my hair turned out, Carly did such an amazing job! Platinum & Company is the best and I highly recommend them.
My husband and I both saw Mya Stevens on Feb 14, 2023 and she was absolutely amazing! My hair color turned out better than I could ever imagine and my husbands braids looked amazing! I cannot wait to go see her again.
I had an amazing experience, and I absolutely love my new hairstyle!! Kate cut it perfectly! And she offered a lot of much needed advice for hair care and styling!
